9am Class

Topic: Colonial Taverns
Speaker: Christy Dolan
Ms. Dolan is an archaeologist who did her M.A. thesis on the Three Cranes Tavern, a colonial tavern across the river from Boston. She did a previous presentation on this topic and how genealogy played a role in her research (see Members Only section of the website under Handouts and Recordings 2021 "Genealogical Research Assists Archaeological Research"). This presentation will broaden the discussion to the role taverns played in colonial life.
Classes on genealogy, family history, media/technology, and computer skills are held at 9 am (PT) on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of most months except January, September, and December. Classes are designed for a variety of interests and ability levels and are often used as a refresher.
